The redevelopment of the historic Station Post Building in The Hague, coupled with the creation of the new Post Park, marks a pivotal moment in the urban transformation of the HS kwartier—the city's new vibrant hub. This district is located near the cultural heart of The Hague and Hollands Spoor Station, serving as a melting pot for students, young families, professionals, and seniors, and offering a metropolitan atmosphere with a perfect balance of living, working, and leisure spaces.

Our role as a tree supplier has been instrumental in transforming a former parking lot into a verdant space that supports biodiversity and contributes to the HS Kwartiers appeal. We supplied a variety of multi-stemmed trees: Quercus cerris of 800-900cm, Sorbus aucuparia of 450-500cm, Carpinus betulus of 600-700cm, and Betula pendula of 700-800cm.

These trees play a crucial role in the greening of this urban space. Water infiltration and providing a varied mix of greenery makes the cityscape more climate-resilient. Significantly, the Post Park now offers an oasis that is up to five degrees cooler on summer days than its urban surroundings, underscoring the tangible benefits of this green transformation within the HS kwartier.
