'Brand new gardens described as a "striking open-air urban space" have been unveiled in Coventry city centre. Opened in time for the start of Coventry's year as UK City of Culture, James Starley Gardens will be a new space for the community. The gardens were built by Coventry University and are based in the heart of their campus, a stone's throw from Coventry Cathedral. The innovative outdoor space features new pedestrian areas and landscape gardens and was created on the site of the university’s James Starley building, which was demolished last year.'

We went there to check the trees that we delivered last spring. The various species of Prunus, Corylus, Pyrus and Juglans and are doing well in their first growing season at the new location. And we have to admit, it is an excellent designed place. The trees were selected by the head of grounds of Coventry University in cooperation with Broadway Malyan. Also a very nice planting job, done by NT Killingley.
